Homework
Children have many opportunities to practice and expand their learning at home. Each week children will be expected to
complete:
- Spellings can be practised using the Spelling Spies Cards
- Practise their times tables up to and including their 12’s
- Daily Reading
- Maths times table target cards are to be practised and assessed at home by parents. In school we will test the children through a ‘times table challenge’ weekly.
- Times Table Rockstars will help with any homework related to maths and also prepare your child for the statutory multiplication test at the end of Year 4.
- Science and Foundation subject homework (Creative Choice)
